

It was August 27, 1963, when Peter Beense first saw the light of day. The baby, who weighed six pounds at the time, had a powerful voice, and now, 50 years later, he can compete with the best singers in the Netherlands. A wonderful career in music that has brought him numerous highlights.
Peter gives concerts at the Royal Theater Carre and effortlessly fills the Heineken Music Hall. During the farewell to his beloved singer Andre Hazes, he performs with numerous colleagues. Peter also sings a posthumous duet with Andre, fulfilling a dream. But there are also duets with Koos Alberts and Harry Slinger, among others. The son of a heating engineer from Amsterdam's Kinkerbuurt neighborhood has now made a name for himself. In 2010, Peter celebrates his silver anniversary in Carre in grand style. He performed on Amsterdam's Museumplein in front of hundreds of thousands of Ajax fans who celebrated numerous championships there with Peter as their cheerleader.
