George Baker's music continues to capture the imagination: his hits are used in popular films and commercials, and other artists record covers of his songs. Tom Jones, for example, scored a number one hit in England and elsewhere with "Little Green Bag," selling more than 3 million copies. And 'Una Paloma Blanca' was used in the 2008 international blockbuster 'The Kiterunner'. As a result, the single once again made it into several charts.

George Baker is still as active as ever. In recent years, he has performed hundreds of shows in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Nine years after the release of the album Flashback, his new album Lonely Boy was released in November 2009. George: "The repertoire fits in seamlessly with the songs I produced in the 1970s, so it's a bit of a return to basics."
