December is the month of Sinterklaas and Santa Claus, but it is also the month in which we toast the arrival of the new year. For Vinzzent, this is the perfect moment to launch his new single, "Proost Op Deze Dag" (Cheers to This Day).

"Proost Op Deze Dag" is a catchy, upbeat song with folk influences that starts acoustically and then kicks into high gear after a few seconds, immediately putting you in the mood. For this single, Vinzzent and Hans van Vondelen collaborated with Edwin van Hoevelaak and musicians Marcel Fisser (guitar and banjo), Manfred Jongenelis (accordion), Joost van Es (violin), Han van Eijk, and Dian Senders (backing vocals).

When Vinzzent looks back on 2017, the highlight for him was his first festival, "Vinzzent Op Het Strand," where he managed to create a particularly atmospheric and enjoyable party and where he was presented with a Platinum Award for Dromendans by his good friend Rob de Nijs. Rob: "Vinzzent, you are in my heart, you know that. You have done a lot for my career, and now you are doing a lot of good things for your own career."
