From Boer Harm to FREDT – David Bouman Makes His Debut as a Musician

After two years of speculation, the moment has finally arrived. Today, the man behind Boer Harm revealed his identity for the first time. David Bouman is stepping onto the stage as a musician under the name FREDT, coinciding with the release of his debut single “VAN AVOND.” No persona, no mask, no character. Just David as a musician.

Nearly twenty years of music

David has been making music since 2007 and is entirely self-taught: from writing and producing to creating his own visuals, branding, and marketing. Just last year, he co-produced a track for the international artist Tory Lanez.

With Boer Harm, he quickly built a massive following: more than 300 shows across the country and over 227,000 followers on TikTok, 107,000 on Instagram, 80,000 on YouTube, and 38,000 on Snapchat. But behind the mask, there was a musician who had been waiting for the right moment all along.

“Time to show who I am”

“Boer Harm was an amazing journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for it,” says David. “But with FREDT, I want to show what I’m really capable of. It’s time to unleash my true creativity and do what I love most: make music.”

“TONIGHT” – the debut single

With “VAN AVOND,” FREDT showcases for the first time the musical direction he’s taking: his own unique blend of rap and funky house. He wrote and produced the single entirely on his own.

Farmer Harm remains available for bookings as an entertainment act.
