On Sunday, Pathé Noord celebrated the premiere of 2 Kleine Kleutertjes – Een Dag Om Nooit Te Vergeten (2 Little Toddlers – A Day to Remember). The cast and crew brought their children and nieces and nephews along for the first screening of the project, which took more than four years to complete. 

Jan Smit, the spiritual father of the 2 Kleine Kleutertjes, welcomed and thanked all visitors. Beforethe film started, he sat at thetables with the children who had come along, coloring pictures. "I hope they will all stand up and dance and sing along."

After the huge success of the CDs, DVDs, and theater shows, it wasn't long before the little ones could be seen in the cinema. The voices are provided by a number of big names: Chantal Janzen plays the mother, Waylon plays Uncle Bob, Simone Kleinsma is Grandma, Ronnie Flex is Hap the Goat, Saar van Aken plays Anna, and Skip Migchelsen plays Joey. The neighbor girl Pippa is voiced by Jan's daughter Emma Smit. Jayden and Bo are voiced by Frenky-Dean Stjeward and Manou Jeu Cardoso.
