Jan Smit's new album, "Boven Jan," will be released on October 28. Jan just announced this on his social media. He did so at a unique location, namely the Record Industry vinyl factory in Haarlem, where he received the first copy of his new album. 

Following the success of his album "Met Andere Woorden," Jan Smit returns with brand new music of his own. In addition to songs he wrote with Matthijn Buwalda, Alain Clark, and Han Kooreneef, most of the songs are by his regular producer Thomas Tol and himself. After taking a break, Jan has created a very personal album in which he reflects on the "roller coaster" that he describes the past few years as having been. This album includes the hit singles "Zolang Je Bij Me Bent" and "Tussen Jou En Mij (duet with Waylon)," which were released earlier.

The album Boven Jan will be available for digital streaming and download from October 28, but will also be available for purchase on CD and vinyl.

In addition to this album, Jan will be performing in Dutch and Flemish theaters again in early 2023 with the theater tour of the same name.
