Peter Beense can look back on a successful 2018 with, in addition to many performances, two particularly well-received new songs, "Het Mooiste Deel Van Mij" and "Alles Draait Om Geld." These two contrasting songs represent what the Amsterdam native stands for musically: fun and celebration, or a cheerful note, alongside the songs about life with which Peter knows how to touch so many people.
He will continue to be very active in 2019. Think of the concert with his "Real Friends," Django Wagner and Frans Duijts, which will take place on January 11 in Eindhoven. In addition, he will of course be present again in mid-March during "Holland Zingt Hazes" in the Ziggo Dome, and later that month he will once again turn the après-ski huts in Tyrol completely upside down.
2019 will also be the year in which Peter Beense will be drawing attention to Alzheimer Nederland through a number of initiatives. Since 1984, this foundation has been committed to helping people affected by dementia. Together with nearly 4,000 volunteers, Alzheimer Nederland is working towards a future without dementia and improving the quality of life of patients today. The proceeds from Peter's new single, the poignant power ballad "Waarom Heb Je Nooit Gezegd" (Why Did You Never Say), will be donated to the foundation by both the singer and his record label Nationale Artiesten Parade. The initiative by Peter, his producer Frank Verkooyen (The Boom! Music Studio), and Ton van Gils (Label Management) has been received with great enthusiasm by Alzheimer Nederland. Information about upcoming activities in this context will follow in the new year.
