3JS Release Anniversary Version of 'Wiegelied'

To mark the 20th anniversary of the famous lullaby "Wiegelied," the 3JS have recorded a 2.0 version together with party trumpeter Jeffrey Parmentier and renowned producer John Dirne. Almost everyone in the Netherlands knows the Wiegelied by the 3JS. With this catchy tune, written in 2006, many babies have been sung to sleep over the past 20 years.

Singer Jan Dulles: "The Wiegelied is constantly being rediscovered by new generations of partygoers and young parents who enjoy the wonder of a newborn baby in its cradle.

Last summer, the song suddenly took off in terms of streams on Spotify, and it hasn't stopped since. It's been a very special experience. All of this led us to decide to record a new, somewhat more modern version together with trumpeter Jeffrey Parmentier and producer John Dirne. One that can keep up with the DJs on the current live circuit for years to come.

Last week, this group traveled to Gerlos, Austria, to record a music video and perform at the local après-ski venues.

Wiegelied 2.0 is now available to listen to via various streaming services.
