3JS guests at Telegraaf

Yesterday, Jan, Jan, and Jaap were guests on Privé. They discussed with Maarten Steendam what 2018 looked like for the band and what the future holds.

The fatherhood of Jan Dulles

Jan Dulles recently (November 11) became the father of a son, James. Jan is loving fatherhood so far, but he also faces a challenge. "It's fantastic. But it's going to be difficult now, because if he's fussy at night and keeps me awake in the coming weeks, I might not be able to make it to the Acoustic Christmas tour!" Together with his girlfriend Caroline, he has come up with a solution: "Starting today, we'll see how it goes. We've agreed that if he gets fussy, I'll sleep in another room."

Acoustic Christmas

Today is the first show of the Acoustic Christmas Tour in Leeuwarden. It's going to be exciting tonight because it's the premiere and also the try-out. Everything has to go well in one go. Maarten wondered about the repertoire. "At some point, you've done everything, right?" Maarten asked, but he's wrong. Jan de Witte: "It actually stays fresh every year. We're always looking for beautiful renditions of well-known songs, and on Spotify, you can discover endless Christmas music."

2019

The band will be touring during the first half of 2019. In addition to the theater tour "Heroes of Music," which pays tribute to the heroes of the 1950s to today, the band will be doing a club tour. "It's actually a kind of theater tour, but without seats," says Jan Dulles. During the club tour, special versions of the harder rock songs from their own repertoire will be played.
