On Saturday, April 18, 2026, Simon Keizer, supported by a live band formed especially for the occasion, will give an exclusive performance at the Melkweg pop venue in Amsterdam. Tickets are now on sale at www.simonkeizer.com.
The one-time show starts at 8:30 p.m.
Until now, Simon Keizer could only be seen in the theater with his poignant "Ruimte" solo tour. Now he is trying something completely different and has chosen the dynamic setting of the Melkweg in Amsterdam!
Q: You call this an exclusive show. Tell us more .
S: "This show at the Melkweg is exclusive in the sense that it's the first time I've ever performed there, and I have no plans for more shows. This was just one to cross off my bucket list."
Q: What can people expect?
S: "I'm so excited about this! In 2025, I toured small and intimate theaters where people mainly listened to what I had to offer. Now I'm looking for energy. Together with a live band, I want to hear what it sounds like when my songs are sung along loudly!"
Q: Can we also expect Nick & Simon songs?
S: "Haha, I understand the question, but my curiosity about how my solo songs will sound in the Melkweg wins out over revisiting Nick & Simon music."
