After coming down with acute laryngitis last week, Jan Smit has decided to clear his schedule until the end of the year. The singer is currently experiencing too much discomfort from physical complaints. "Right now, it's just time to choose myself and my health, as much as I regret it for all my fans..." said the 33-year-old Smit. All scheduled performances and/or activities have therefore been canceled. Of course, replacement dates are being sought. Jan wants to use the rest of the year to fully recharge his batteries for 2020, when his new album will also be released in the spring.
