Today, Jan Smit's new album "Boven Jan" was released. Boven Jan is the follow-up to the album Met Andere Woorden, which was released in 2018.
In addition to the songs he wrote with Alain Clark, Han Kooreneef, and Matthijn Buwalda, most of the songs are his own and those of his regular producer Thomas Tol. After taking a break, Jan has created this very personal album in which he reflects on the "roller coaster" that he describes as the past few years. This album includes the hit singles "Zolang Je Bij Me Bent" and "Tussen Jou En Mij (duet with Waylon)," which were released earlier. The release will be supported by the new single "De Spiegel," whose video clip will appear online this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. on Jan's YouTube channel.
