What is the current state of general knowledge among the Dutch population? Once again, presenter Linda de Mol has the honorable task of determining the level of knowledge among celebrities, students, and viewers at home by means of the well-known quiz show "Weet Ik Veel" (I Know a Lot). Starting Sunday, January 6, a brand-new series of eight episodes will be broadcast on RTL 4.
Actor Willem Voogd, influencer Nikkie (de Jager) Tutorials, and singer Ruben Hein will kick things off this Sunday. In the weeks that follow, GroenLinks politician Jesse Klaver, singer Nick Schilder, actress Holly Mae Brood, model Kim Feenstra, and presenter Merel Westrik, among others, will show what they've got.
Every week, three of them compete against each other and against a studio full of three hundred smart students. Viewers can play along live from their living rooms using the special "Weet Ik Veel" app. Together, against each other, against the candidates in the studio, and against the rest of the Netherlands. Anyone who scores a six or higher has a chance to win great prizes!
After fifty knowledge questions, the best student and celebrity remain. They play against each other in the final and compete for a nice sum of money. Ultimately, the celebrity can surprise someone who could really use the money with the amount they have won. The student takes the money home with them.
"Weet Ik Veel" is produced by Talpa.
Broadcast: weekly from Sunday, January 6, at 8 p.m. on RTL 4.
