"Vallen en Weer Opstaan" is the new single from 3JS. The band traveled to Los Angeles to record the track, where they hit the studio with legendary mixer Bob Clearmountain and a group of the best musicians on the American West Coast.
Sean Hurley (John Mayer, Lana Del Rey), Victor Indrizzo (Beck, Lizzo), David Delhomme (Marcus Miller, Eric Clapton), Greg Leisz (Bruce Springsteen, Bon Iver), and Davey Chedwiggen (The Black Keys) were among those who took part in the session band. The single therefore has that typical West Coast country sound. "Vallen en Weer Opstaan" is about the uncertainty that comes with life's journey, the stress of choice that every person, young and old, has to deal with.
Jan Dulles: "Vallen en Weer Opstaan (Falling Down and Getting Back Up) is a song about the choices you make. The path of life consists of turns that you do or do not take. It can preoccupy a person quite a bit."
