Today sees the release of the new single "De Dag En De Nacht" (Day and Night) by the Netherlands' most popular pop duo Nick & Simon. The catchy uptempo song is taken from their latest album "Aangenaam" (Pleased to Meet You) and was produced by Gordon Groothedde.

To celebrate the release of the single, the guys recorded a digital EP that includes "De Dag En De Nacht" and four covers that they're playing during their current theater tour. The Aangenaam tour visits around 60 theaters, and during part of the full-length shows, the audience can choose between a Dutch or English cover from a suitcase. These songs are "Naast Jou" by Boudewijn de Groot and "De Stad Amsterdam" by Jacques Brel, also known here from the version by Acda en de Munnik. From the English suitcase, they are "Can't Stop The Feeling" by Justin Timberlake and "Shape Of You" by Ed Sheeran. Nick & Simon recorded these songs during a soundcheck especially for those who have already seen the show and want to relive it, or are going soon and want to enjoy the anticipation!

The vast majority of theaters are now sold out, but there are still a limited number of tickets available for Carré in Amsterdam and World Forum Theatre in The Hague, for example. Quick decision-makers can find the last tickets at www.ntk.nl.
