In each episode, one of them will search for theirnext big hit. To this end, five songwriters will step out of the shadows for a moment. They have all written a song specifically for the artist. Because behind every top song there is a top songwriter, and that is not always the artist themselves... The song that the artist chooses at the end of the broadcast will be released immediately after the broadcast and can be downloaded and streamed via Spotify. For which songwriter will a dream come true? The program is presented by singer Snelle and can be seen on SBS6 from Friday, July 1, at 8:30 p.m.
Each episode ofI Want Your Songfocuses on a well-known artist. Five songwriters come to the studio for each artist. One by one, accompanied by the live band, they pitch their songtothe artist and the audience. That audience consists of a hundred enthusiastic but critical fans of the artist. If the artist wants, he can ask them for advice. After all, they know better than anyone which song has potential: the song that excitesthem. Nevertheless, it is the artist himself who makes the final decision. Which song does he believe in the most?
The winner will see his or her song rewarded with a music video and an official launch. After the broadcast, the song will be immediately available for download and streaming on Spotify, ready to storm the charts. InI Want Your Song, one songwriter's dream comes true every week!
