Nick & Simon's new CD "NSG" enters GFK's Dutch Album Top 100 at number one today. This is the duo's tenth album to reach this position!

The starting point for "NSG" was to create songs inspired by Simon & Garfunkel, both during the writing process and during the recording sessions. The album was recorded at Henson Recording Studios in L.A. with producer and 12-time Grammy winner Jay Newland and a special group of musicians.

Paul de Munnik, John Ewbank, Nielson, Matt Simons, Guus Meeuwis, Jaap Kwakman, David Björk, Andreas Moe, and Gordon Groothedde, among others, contributed to the writing process. The end result is the album "NSG," which stands for Nick, Simon & Garfunkel, featuring 12 Dutch-language compositions that all possess the intriguing beauty of the Simon & Garfunkel oeuvre. The hit single "Oostenwind" was released earlier.

As a bonus, "NSG" includes an extra disc with Simon & Garfunkel covers recorded at Wisseloord Studios. In addition to well-known hits such as "Homeward Bound" and "The Sound Of Silence," the bonus disc also includes lesser-known gems such as "Scarborough Fair" and "Bleecker Street."
